Ephraim’s number one asset is its waterfront view. With beautiful sunny days giving way to dramatic sunsets, the water offers perfect a backdrop for a day spent in Ephraim. If you follow Hwy 42 (Water Street) north through the village, our first stop is at the Ephraim Public Beach. Here you can find public restrooms, plenty of parking and lots of sand. Next we come to the newly renovated Firehouse Marina. The facility not only provides showers and restrooms, but there are also seasonal slips, moorings, and transient slips available for rental. A public launch ramp and parking are provided. Just to the north is Monument Park. Now, follow along the shoreline to South Shore Pier. Here one can fine a whole assortment of water sports and activities to choose from. Just a couple steps north is the Village Hall Park. It features an observation deck overlooking the water for a prime sunset viewing location. Another wonderful spot to take in the sunset is the Ephraim Visitor’s Center. Plenty of information about our village and restrooms are available here. Right next door, the Ephraim Yacht Club is another local landmark. The EYC has been here for over 100 years and is open to the public. The Ephraim Regatta, hosted by the EYC, is the oldest regatta on the Great Lakes, having been held here every year since 1906. Stop by to check out the updated pier. Last, we reach the historic Anderson Dock. The pier was a center of commerce in Ephraim for over a hundred years. Now it houses the Francis Hardy Gallery and offers a nice place for fishermen to drop a line.
