Peninsula Players Theatre
Where the sun sets, the curtain rises and the stars shine. Partake in America’s oldest
professional resident summer theatre’s 77th season June 12-October 14, 2012. Discover Door County’s
theatrical treasure nestled along the scenic shoreline; enjoy a pre-show beverage from the Luna Bar while
sitting under a canopy of a cedar forest and enjoy the view of the setting sun over the waters of Green Bay.
After enjoying the great ambiance the Players has to offer, one settles into the Players award-winning
all-weather pavilion for an evening of unparalleled professional live theater presented by a stellar
acting company renowned for its artistic excellence. Since 1935, the Peninsula Players have presented a
mix of comedies, dramas and musicals in its open-sided audience pavilion. The Players perform rain or shine
with a green roof overhead and side walls which are lowered during inclement weather.
Mother Nature provides the picturesque setting and the Peninsula Players provide a truly unforgettable theatrical
experience. Performances held Tuesday through Sunday evenings; no shows on Mondays. In the fall season, radiant
in-floor heat removes the chill. Find out why patrons have been enchanted by the Players experience for generations.
